Sensuous sizzling star of South, Samanta who is on a signing spree after 'Dookudu' is all set to get married. While she was never forthcoming about her love and marriage, it is going to happen soon.


However fans need not get too disheartened as she is getting married in a kollywood flick having catchy title 'Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah'. In this kollywood romantic entertainer, she will be seen marrying young and handsome hero Jai.


The film will be directed by Aneesh, former Assistant of Nasser. Aaskar Ravichandran is producing the film whose cinematography will be handled by Shakti if the script satisfies him. Presently script work is under progress and film will go to sets with in two months time.

Nayantara to share the screen space 'Billa 2'!

While the buzz is that Nayantara would share the screen space with Ajith in an upcoming film to be helmed by Vishnuvardhan, a section of people in the industry say the actress might be seen doing a cameo in 'Billa 2'!


Remember it was 'Billa' which made Nayantara popular, thanks to her bikini act. "Hence she was happy to do a special appearance in Billa 2. Besides, she will be the heroine of Ajith-Vishnuvardhan project which will be kick-started soon," say sources.

'Murattu Kaalai', remake Soon

Sundar C starrer 'Murattu Kaalai', a remake of a Superstar Rajinikanth's blockbuster of the same title, was lying in the cans for a while now. The film is set to see the light of the day soon, for attempts are on to release it in March.


"The movie will hit the screens by the end of March. Though I did not feel the heat of acting in a Rajini film's remake while shooting most of the scenes, performing for the song 'Podhuvaga en manasu thangam...' sent the chill down my spine," Sundar says.


"Because it was an iconic number which was hugely popular thanks to Rajini's fiery performance. I had to get my act right. I hope things have come good," explains the actor-director, who had worked with the Superstar in 'Arunachalam'.


'Murattu Kaalai' has Sundar, Sneha and Vivek in lead roles. At present, Sundar is busy directing a film titled 'Masala Cafe', which has Vimal and Siva in lead roles. Upon completing this project, he will work with Vishal for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.

Actress S.N.Lakshmi passed away - RIP Cine Clouds

Veteran actor SN Lakshmi passed away in Chennai.  She was 85.  SN Lakshmi has played mother role for MGR, Sivaji and Gemini Ganesan.  She is an ardent fan of Kamal Haasan and has acted in many of his movies.

She starred in number of movies as ‘Michael Madhana Kama Rajan’, ‘Mahanadhi’ and ‘Virumaandi’.  SN Lakshmi has acted in more than 1000 movies in Tamil and Telugu.  She has also made appearances in small screen.

A few weeks back she slipped and fell in the shooting spot.  Due to the fall she sustained injury in the spinal cord.  Following this she was admitted in a private hospital at Chennai.

A few days back, when she met small screen actors she told she would recover and be back to schedules.  But yesterday her health suddenly deteriorated and she passed away in the hospital last night.

Since she was interested in the field of histrionics, she entered drama troops when she was as young as 6 years.  She made a slow and steady progress and moved to cinema.

She has played mother role for actors as MGR, Sivaji, Gemini, Nagesh and Ravichandran.  In the cine field, she used her own voice for dubbing until last.

 Since she was particular about being punctual to the shooting spot, she did not even employ a car driver.  She used to drive to the shooting spot herself. Only recently, she stopped car driving considering health conditions.

SN Lakshmi who was keenly bent on acting did not marry until last.  She lived with her brother’s granddaughters in Saligramam, Chennai.

Late SN Lakshmi’s body has been kept for homage in her residence at Saligramam.  Many cine icons paid homage to her body.  Her final rites are to be conducted in her native place Sennalkudi in Virudunagar district tomorrow (21.02.12).

Aravaan & Attakathi on Feb 24th

Sasikala Husband Natarajan arrested land grab case

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa's former aide Sasikala's husband Natarajan was on Saturday arrested by Thanjavur police in Chennai in connection with a land grab case.
On February 3, Sasikala's brother Diwakaran was arrested following a complaint that he had demolished a woman's house in Thiruvarur district.
Diwakaran was remanded to custody till February 16 and sent to Thiruchirapalli jail, around 320 km from Chennai.

Police were on the look out for Diwakaran after a woman called Kasturi complained that he had demolished her home last month.

The Madras High Court had dismissed his anticipatory bail earlier.

Diwakaran was arrested at a vehicle checkpost near Tiruchirapalli, police officials said.

In a dramatic move last December, Jayalalithaa had thrown Sasikala out of her house. Jayalalithaa also sacked Sasikala and others close to her from the primary membership of the AIADMK party.

Jayalalithaa has maintained silence about the reason for her decision.

Story:

Ramachandran commonly called as Ram (Atharva) is an IT employee in a high-flying company. Coming to our heroine, Latha (Amala Paul) hails from a rich family in USA, daughter of a Kingpin in IT Empire. The lead pair meets during a special project meet in India and become the part of a team to create the software for preventing the radiation generated from radioactive machines and instruments to prevent the human race from hazardous diseases. Meanwhile Ram and Latha start sharing pleasures and likeliness. Here comes an interesting twist for viewers what is the twist? How will they solve? Make the crux of Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal.

Performance:

Atharva has given a stunning performance compared to his earlier films. Doubtlessly, he is sure of make big this time. Atharva will surely make a promising career ahead. He showed extraordinary expressions body language and apt performance as an IT chap.

Amala Paul seems had worked a lot and put more efforts to get into the skin of American IT female. Santhanam comic tracks are regular as well as enjoyable and his take on as IT professional is real fun.

Technical Analysis:

Producer turn director Eldred Kumar has given a brilliant script that keeps the audiences stick glued to the screens throughout the show.

G.V.Prakash musical tunes were already proved best and the back ground music is also scored well.

RS Infotainment once again proved to be producing best scripts.

Analysis:

Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal is a feel good movie, which makes audiences stick to the screens without getting distracted even for a single scene. It is worth mentioning that Eldred Kumar has been a part of script team in almost all the movies he has produced and his work is appreciable here.

True entertainer and must watch film, go watch Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal in theaters.
