RIP to singer PB Srinivasan

Singer PB Srinivasan passed away

He Was a veteran playback singer from India. He had sung in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and malayalamfilms. He was known for his playback singing in the Telugu, Kannada film and Tamil film industries. He passed away on 14th April, 2013 at the age of 82 in chennai.

Udhayam NH4 Audio is out now

Siddharth’s upcoming movie is Udhayam NH4 under debutant Manimaran Direction. The movie audio has been released on April 1st. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the tunes for the film. Actress Ashritha Shetty is making her debut with this film.

This Tamil- Telugu bilingual movie is undergoing its post production work and censor work will be in next week. Udhayam NH4 audio launch was held at Suriyan FM radio station on 1st of April. A single track “Yaaro Ivan” is already topping the charts. The movie is and Siddharth crooned the Telugu version of “Yaaro Ivan”. Siddharth tweeted, “Fantastic album from @G.V.Prakash for ‘NH4’ comes out. Music releasing on fm in Tamil & Telugu, I’ve sung on the Telugu album. Cheers.”

The film also features Kay Kay Menon, Kishore are playing the prominent roles. Dhayanidhi Azhagiri and Vetrimaran produced this movie under Meeka Entertainments and Grass Root Film Company. Udhayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Films has acquired the distributed rights.

Cannes Film Festival bow for Thalaivaar

Cannes film festivals Red Carpet for the film teaser of Rajnikanth starrer Kochadaiyaan. Latest we hear is that Rajinikanth and director, daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth are invited by Cannes authorities to release the Kochadaiyaan trailer at prestigious Cannes Film Festival which will be held from the second week of May.

There are many speculations about Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie Kochadaiyaan.This movie is the first directional venture for Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth. Deepika Padukone is playing the female lead and tunes are composed by AR Rahman.

Shobana, Aadhi, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Jackie Shroff are playing the prominent roles. This movie is the first Indian movie to use motion capture technology. Sunil Lulla is producing this movie under Eros International.

Suriya and Karthi say Jai Bolo Hari

After continuous 2 disasters of "Saguni" and "Alex Pandian" Karthi is currently busy shooting for 'Biriyani' and 'All In All Azhagu Raja'. Now Karthi Sivakumar has joined hands with director Hari Gopalakrishnan also in an effort to revive his sagging career.

After Biriyani and All In All Azhagu Raja Karthi will start working on Hari's untitled Tamil film which be produced by Vendhar Movies. Director Hari is known for making hits like "Thamizh" and "Saamy". The search is on for the rest of the cast.

Hari is also busy wrapping up "Singam 2", a sequel to super hit Tamil action-drama "Singam" featuring Suriya in the lead. "Singam 2" is equally important for Suriya as his last two Tamil films "7aum Arivu" and "Maattrraan" bombed at the box-office.

Everyones eye on Shankar's "I"

The crazy combination of Anniyan is backing again with another block buster “I”. Vikram is busy shooting in “I” under Shankar’s direction. Amy Jackson is playing the female lead and many highly sophisticated technicians from Hollywood are working for ‘I’.

As per reports, Vikram will take a long break of 40 days for his next schedule. In this 40 day period he has to tone his body by losing weight to give a sporty look. Vikram is playing a very distinct role in his upcoming movie ‘I’.

The film also features Santhanam and Suresh Gopi are playing the supporting roles. Ace music director A.R.Rahman is composing the tunes and director Shankar is working for the first time with world-class cinematographer P.C.Sreeram. Men in Black fame Mary Vogt is working as costume designer and Australian Rising Sun Pictures (RSP) of Harry Potter series are in charge of the VFX. Venu Ravichandran is producing this movie under Aascar Films.

Vijay Sethupathi is currently busy with Nine Projects

Vijay Sethupathi, which rose to fame with blockbuster Tamil films such as "Pizza" and "Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kannom", is considered one of the busiest actors in filmdom. Vijay has nine Tamil films in his kitty. "I'm currently busy with nine projects, but I take out time to work on one project at a time because I like to prioritize my work," says Vijay.

"I don't jump to signing films one after another. I take special interest in the script of every film I sign. It's very important that the script should impress me... I loved the script of my upcoming film and, therefore, did everything to be part of the project," Vijay said.

Vijay will be seen as a 40-year-old man in his upcoming Tamil comedy "Soodhu Kavvum". He is currently busy shooting for "Rummy", "Pannaiyarum Padminiyum", "Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara" and "Sangudevan" besides an untitled Seenu Ramaswamy project and three more films in the pipeline.

Vishal as a Producer

Southern star Vishal’s next venture will be produced under his own production house Vishal Film Factory. Vishal has recently announced his own production house Vishal Film Factory. Lakshmi Menon has been roped for female lead. 

The first venture from Vishal Film Factory will be Vishal’s next movie. It is directed by Naan Mahaan Alla fame Suseenthiran and tunes are composed by D.Imman. More official cast and crew details had to be announced officially. This movie shoot is likely to start from June and the movie is touted to be a revenge story. 

Presently Vishal starrer Madha Gaja Raja is set to release on Apr 12th. The film features Anjali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as the female leads and directed by Sundar C. Vishal is playing a cameo role in Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru which is also directed by Sundar C.

"Woo" will be shot in as many international locales

Tamil upcoming romantic-drama "Woo" will be shot in as many international locales as never heard before. Jayaprakash is wielding megaphone for the film. The makers are likely to film it in European countries like Switzerland and Norway, since it's a soothing romantic duet.

"It's one of the soothing romantic tracks of the soundtrack. We recently finished recording the song and when my producer heard it, he felt that it should be shot in picturesque international locations. We have narrowed down on places such as Switzerland, Norway and few other places in Europe to shoot the song," director Jayaprakash said.

S.S. Vasan is producing the flick which is near completion. The film features Richard and Vidya as lead pair and M.S. Bhaskar, Vasu, and Aishwarya among others. Satish Chkravarthy has composed the music, while cinematography is by Rasamadhi.

Mariyaan audio to launch on April 23rd

Bharath Bala directorial Mariyaan starrer Dhanush, audio is set to launch on April 23rd apart that two tracks from the film are set to release on April 9, 16th.  A.R.Rahman composed the tunes. 

Two trailers have caught the audience attention and the movie is anticipated for summer release. The movie is touted as a drama thriller and story deals with Indian migrants who were prisoners in Sudan.

Parvathy Menon is playing the female lead and Salim Kumar, Appukutty, Uma Riyaz Khan are playing the supporting roles. Marc Koninckx is handling the cinematography and Venu Ravichandran is producing this film under Aascar Films.

Ethir Neechal to Hit Screens on April 26th

Ethir Neechal is the first production venture from Dhanush’s home productions Wunderbar Films, is gearing up for its release on April 26. R.S.Durai Senthilkumar is wielding the megaphone for the film.

The film has a special cameo performance by Dhanush and Nayantara, picturised on Dhanush, Nayantara and Sivakarthikeyan under Baba Bhaskar choreography. Anirudh Ravichander composed the tunes.

Sivakarthikeyan and Priya Anand are playing the main leads. Also features Nadita, Ravi Prakash, Suza Kumar are playing the prominent roles. This is the first production venture of Dhanush.
