Makkal Nayagan Ramarajan who is making his reentry in Kollywood with ‘Medhai’ after several years has reportedly said he would act in lead roles only and would never do cameo roles. The actor says, “My forever role model Puratchi Thalivar MGR never did cameo roles after becoming Hero. Following his footpath I always wanted to play the lead roles alone. During the past few years many directors have approached me to do cameo roles in their films but I politely declined the offers as I never wanted to play cameo roles other than Hero roles”.
“Medhai has come out really well and I am confident it would entertain all sections of audience”, adds the actor.
Ramarajan plays a school teacher in Medhai and new faces Ajay and Hashini are playing the prominent roles. The film is directed by NTG Saravanan and produced by Kalaimagal Kalaikoodam.
Dheena scores the music and the audio release was held recently in Chennai.
