Shruti Rajalakshmi Haasan was born on January 28, 1986 to the famous actor couple Kamal Haasan and Sarika. She completed her tenth grade in ‘Lady Aandal’ School, Chennai and moved to Mumbai to pursue her Psychology studies at St. Andrew’s College.

She then shifted her interest to music and cinema, and so went to America to learn music at the Musicians Institute, California. Being a star kid she always had the attention of people and expectation high performance once she entered the world of media and arts.
