Ilaignan Story:
The movie opens in the 1959, Deivanayagam (Sharat Babu) a good hearted person runs as hip building company in the Coromandel Coast. As he becomes older he hands over his business to his son Rajanayagam (Suman). Rajanayagam behaves like a ruler and make the labor work for the maximum time. His wife Sena (Namitha) too is also cruel like her husband. Arockiasamy (Nasser) and Valliammal (Kushboo) son Kargi (Paa Vijay) joins the ship building company, where his father worked earlier. He is pressurized by his parent’s to join the work. But he is not interested in working for this company. They are forcefully made to work for 12-16 hours per day and if any one refused to do they will be seriously punished by the management. Kargi always wants to put a full stop to the troubles faced by his co workers.
Remaya (Remya Nambisan) hailing from a rich family loves Kargi and things go smooth until Meera (Meera Jasmine) arrives into the frame. Meera (Meera Jasmine) comes from London to see her father Deivanayagam, who falls ill. However Meera too joins with Kargi and fights to bring down her brother’s Rajanayagam’s empire will part the rest of the story.
Performances:
Paa Vijay’s performance is Okay, but need to improve if he is choosing he wants to continue in acting.
Meera Jasmine has nothing to perform and same is with Remya Nambeesan.
Suman brings all his experience in this film and his expressions are good. Glamour queen Namitha is okay. Vadivelu as Isaac Armugam gave the required comic relief in the film.
Director Suresh Krishna by having a vast experience in the making films could have been much better.
Vidyasagar’s music is of great help for the film Thotta Tharani art work is wonderful. The film is expected to have decent run at the box-office.
Bottom Line: Just give a try if no further option
