The incident happened when host Queen Latifah asked Stewart, Pattinson and Taylor Lautner to stand up and wave to the audience.
"Kristen accidentally smacked Rob... She mouthed, `Oh my God! Sorry!` and got even more uncomfortable than she already was," a website quoted a witness as saying.
The 20-year-old, who beat Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Katherine Heigl and Julia Roberts to walk away with the favorite movie actress award for "Eclipse", had a series of uncomfortable moments at the funtion.
Lautner came to her aid when she had trouble climbing the stairs in her Jimmy Choo peep-toes as they went to collect the best movie award. She even fumbled during her acceptance speech.
