The scenario has totally changed and he is busy with four films this year. His kitty is full with the following films Vaanam, Podaa Podi, Vettai Mannan and Valiban. Currently Simbu is shooting for Vaanam with director Krish. This is the remake of a Telugu film Vedam. Podaa Podi is a romantic entertainer and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is pairing with Simbu, produced by Gemini Film Circuits.
His third project Vettai Mannan is a trilingual film written and directed by debutant Nelson. The female lead will be different in each language respectively. Later to this he will be busy with Valiban, which will be directed by Silambarasan himself. The film is a love story with patriotism as backdrop. The music for three films out of four is composed by his very close friend Yuvan Shankar Raja.
