All set for a Mumbai trip for the team of Mankatha. Ajith, Director Venkat Prabhu along with other crew are packing their baggage for rolling the camera in the slums of Mumbai.


Director Venkat Prabhu has almost finished wrapping up the scenes in Chennai as the schedule in on the heels of completion. Cloud Nine is strictly sticking to the prefixed schedules and helped the unit to wrap up major part of the film. Director Venkat Prabhu is preparing for canning few important scenes at Dharavi slums In Mumbai, one of the world's largest slums.


Ajith, Trisha, Arjun, Lakshmi Rai, Sneha, Anjali, Premji Amaren and Vaibhav will be boarding their flight to Mumbai by this month end. If things move according the set schedule the team will finish the shooting part by first week of March.


The story is on the lines of gambling mafia during IPL cricket season. Mankatha will be starting this year summer season with a grand release on Thala Ajith’s birthday i.e. May 1st, 2011.
