The decision he took is to stop singing. Yes what you read is right, he decided not to sing anymore in the films for which he renders the music. He proved himself not only as a music composer but also as a play back singer, His songs like En Kathal Solla in Paiyaa, Kan Thakuthe in Baana Kathadi and Iragai Pole in Naan Mahaan Alla turned out to be chart busters. The reason is his kitty is filled with 20 projects and finds no time for singing.

Yuvan tweeted “Working for Vaanam, Adhibagavan and Pawan’s Shadow (Telugu film)! Need four hands... Lol but still I'm loving it... N excited about all the projects I'm doing now... 2011 lots of music guys enjoy. But I've thought about taking a break from singing for sometime".
