Ajmal is upbeat with Ko's bumper opening

Ajmal of Anjathey and Thiru Thiru Thuru fame, is upbeat with Ko's bumper opening. He plays Vasanthan Perumal, an aspiring young politician in the movie. Directed by K V Anand, the movie features Jiiva, Piiya and Karthika. Music is by Harris Jeyaraj.


Beaming with joy, Ajmal, says, ' It is been a great pleasure that Ko has managed to become a big hit. My role is widely appreciated. I have won lots and lots of female fans, though my role had negative shades.'


The whole unit was very co-operative and everyone including the lightmen, assistants were co-operative, he adds.


Anand had a vision and he got the desired output on screen, he adds. He says his forthcoming films would be different from each other including one in which he plays a dual role.


Ajmal says, working with Mysskin was difefrent. he was serious and had his won style of working. Anand is a different director, who conceives scenes on sets'.


Ajmal says, ;even the likes of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan had become big after playing roles with negative shades in early part of their career'.
