Swathi, the Telugu television anchor turned actress made a sensational debut in Tamil with Sasikumar directed pathbreaking Subramaniapuram.


Remember the legendary chartbuster Kangal Iranthal was picturised on Swathy and Jai?


Now three years after Subramaniapuram, the team of Sasikumar and Samuthirakanni is bringing her back to Tamil films with their latest Porali .


The film is directed by Samuthirakani, and Swathy’s hero will be Sasikumar.


Swathy had signed up and shot with Vikram in Leh for an untitled film directed by Selvaraghavan which was shelved.


When Anjali and Trisha diplomatically ‘did not have dates’ to be Sasikumar’s heroine, the Porali team went back to Swathy.
