Thala Ajith’s ‘Billa 2’ the most expensive film to date

After his 50th film ‘Mankatha’ coming next is Thala Ajith’s ‘Billa 2’ the most expensive film to date. The film is being shot at 35 crores and it is shot with EPIC RED that has a 5K resolution. It is said that this is the first film to be shot in India using this camera, say Kollywood sources.
Chakri Toleti the Andhra man who directed Unnaipol Oruvan is now directing ‘Billa 2’. R D Rajashekar the cameraman for the film plans to fly abroad to master this camera.




Huma Qureshi makes her debut in Kollywood with this film as leading lady. Bruna Abdullah is also the other leading lady; she is a model and theatre artist. Prabhu, Rahman and Sudhanshu Pandey and reports are that Malayalam Manoj K. Jayan may also the supporting cast in the film.
Yuvan Shankar Raja scores music for the film. ‘Billa 2′ is now being shot at Hyderabad. The film is produced by Wide Angle Entertainment and presented by IN Entertainment. It is said that the film crew plans to shoot their next schedule in Europe inform Kollywood sources.
