Andrea Jeremiah new avatar of lending her voice for dubbing

Andrea Jeremiah is an Indian playback singer and a film and theatre actress. Beginning her career singing playback, Andrea has gone on to appear in critically acclaimed films such as Pachaikili Muthucharam and Aayirathil Oruvan, winning praise for her portrayals.

Andrea sure is multi-talented. After she proved her mettle as a playback singer in numerous films, including Vettayadu Vilayadu and Aayirathil Oruvan, actress Andrea has shone in her new avatar — of lending her voice for dubbing.

Director Shankar, has approached Andrea to dub for Ileana D’ Cruz for his next cinematic offering, Nanban. She dubbed for Taapsee in Aadukalam, which bagged several awards at the national level.

Nanban a remake of the Bollywood hit 3 Idiots, Nanban has Vijay, Jiiva and Srikanth playing the male leads and Ileana reprising the role done by Kareena Kapoor in the original.

It’s common knowledge that the Enthiran director has always been choosy about getting the best voices for his heroines. In this context it is worth mentioning that actress Kaniha dubbed for Shriya in Shankar’s earlier film, Sivaji.
