Yuvan Shankar Raja is going international

Yuvan Shankar Raja, son of the maestro Ilayaraja has made his presence felt strongly as a music director in the southern circuit. Now, it is heard that he is going international.

Earlier today, he tweeted saying that he has signed an international action adventure film which will be an Indo-Chinese co-production. Apparently, half of the film will be shot in China and the other half in India with Bollywood actors. Since the film hasn’t been named yet, he refused to divulge further details stating that it’s too early to comment about the film.

He’s one of the most sought after music directors in Tamil film industry and he’s currently composing music for Pawan Kalyan-Vishnuvardhan’s upcoming film. In Tamil, he’s scoring music for Ajith’s 50th film, Mankatha which is one of the most eagerly awaited Tamil films this year.

Interestingly, A R Rahman had composed music for a Mandarin film titled ‘Warriors of Heaven and Earth’ back in 2003 which was highly appreciated across the world.
