Speaking to media persons in Chennai on Thursday, Silambarasan said, ' we decided that Dharani who knows the knack of giving commercial hits should direct the Tamil remake of Dabbang. He agreed and everything fell on place after that'.
We shot non-stop for 87 days in Mysore for the movie. Gopinath's cinematography and Thaman's music has given the movie a fresh colour, he added.
He said that he worked hard to get six packs for 30 days and his fans will enjoy it, he said and added, 'Osthi will match Dabbang'.
On his part, Dharani said, ' it was a delight to work in the movie. STR's dedication deserves a special mention'. Among others who spoke on the occasion include Mayilsamy, S Thaman, and Jithan Ramesh.
