Sources say the movie that has been given a U certificate will be released with 820 prints across the globe.
Genelia D'Souza and Hansika Motwani play Vijay's heroines. It's music scored by Vijay Antony. Director Jayam Raja is all hopes on Velayudham 'It is a racy movie that is big and beautiful, racy and riveting, sharp and suave,' he says.
Raja says, ' it was my desire to do a movie with Vijay for a long time. He is a real mass hero who has a strong screen presence. A pacy script with enough commercial elements for Vijay would do wonders'.
