Director K V Anand says that 50% of the shooting of Maatraan is over. K V Anand is one of the leading and popular directors in the Tamil film industry. After Ko, he is directing a different genre film titled Maatraan. This film has Surya in the different kind of lead role. The shooting of this film is going on in top gear.


K V Anand while speaking about this film said, "Maatraan is a film based on present day story. But at the same time the film will be very emotional and will have a feel. The film will be very interesting and agile as the audience expect. I have completed half of the film.
