Over the past few weeks, there has been speculation in industry circles that Trisha would be playing the female lead opposite Venkatesh in the multi-starrer "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu". Now, it has been officially confirmed by producer Dil Raju, who is shooting for the film in Visakhapatnam, that Telugu ammayi Anjali of "Journey" fame will be playing the role. The actress, who received critical acclaim for the film has won two Film fare awards for Best Female Debutante in Tamil and Best Actress for "Angadi Theru/Shopping Mall".
