Anirudh Ravichander who was roped in by his cousin Aishwarya Dhanush and composed Kolaveri Di is now in the news for the wrong reasons. Even as the young composer’s film 3 is yet to hit the cinema halls, he is hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons. The enthusiastic youngster who has become quite the ‘dude on the scene’ and is being pursued by all cliques in and out of the industry, signed up with Mumbai based PR group, Kwan to handle his commercial ventures. According to industry sources, Anirudh is charging a whopping Rs 1 crore for scoring music.Biggies in the industry are amazed at this figure when compared to AR Rahman who touched the 1 crore mark only in the recent past. Speaking to media, Anirudh says, “I am in the final mixing stages of the film’s Hindi version. It has been really hectic! It is true that I have signed up with a Mumbai based agency for my future ventures. I am getting few offers but all in discussion stages. Nothing has even come to negotiation part. It is a fiction of someone’s imagination that I charge a crore. And I am also clear that I will sign my next only after the release of 3”.We also hear that soon you are going to don the grease paint! (Smiles) “I got an offer from director Mugil who earlier did Shanthanoo Bhagyaraj’s Kanden. He told me that I was apt for the script. But I am not at all interested in facing the cameras.”
