Gautami turns costume designer

Gautami who once scorched the southern screens during her hay days later married Kamal Hasan. She is presently the costume designer for Kamal's prestigious film 'Viswaroopam'. She says working for Viswaroopam is quite difficult and different though she earlier gave her services to 'Dasavataram'. She says the film has roles from four continents and designing costumes according to their culture and customs is a challege for her.


Gautami said she had a doubt whether her daughter Subbulakshmi likes her designs but she was thrilled with them. She is even eyeing a comeback in films with Kamal scripting a role for her in his 'Amar Hai', a trilingual in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi taking on corruption.
