Thuppaki as Bandook in Boolywood

One of the recent release during Diwali was ‘Thuppaki’ and this has the Tamil star Vijay in the lead along with Kajal Agarwal. This was directed by A R Murugadoss and though the Tamil version became a hit the Telugu version failed to click. However, that has not stopped the film from going to Mumbai.

Reports are arriving that the stage is set for ‘Thuppaki’ to get into Bollywood with a remake and this would be having Akshay Kumar as the hero. Buzz is that the title of ‘Bandook’ is under consideration. Lately, Akshay Kumar has also been focusing a lot on south Indian movies like Salman Khan.

However, it is not sure whether the remake also would be directed by Murugadoss or not. For now, the other update is that Parineeti Chopra might be reprising the role of Kajal in the film. Currently the final round of discussions are said to be on and an official announcement is awaited.
