As CineClouds reported viewers earlier, Kamal Haasan has planned to screen his magnum opus Vishwaroopam in viewers home screens on January 11 with the help of DTH operators, who has now back-tracked his idea, as he was opposed by distributors.
Speaking with a leading producer about Vishwaroopam distribution, Kamal has revealed his idea to screen the movie in audiences personal TV’s FDFS, which has lead to the unexpected opposition from the theatre owners and distributors associations. Finally Kamal happened to drop the Television screening idea after consulting few advisors within trade and film industry..
Kamal haasan, who has turned director and producer with Vishwaroopam is gearing up to launch the audio album of the film in Chennai, Madhurai and Coimbatore on 7th December. Produced under Raaj kamal International and PVP Cinemas banners, ' Vishwaroopam' enjoys music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, while Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah played lady lead roles for Kamal.
