It looks like Rajinikanth will follow the footsteps of his close friend Kamal Haasan. As we had already reported, Kamal Haasan’s magnum opus Vishwaroopam will have a DTH premiere a day before the actual theatrical release. This has created a huge buzz in the entire film industry. While some of the theatre owners are against it, the producers welcome the move by Kamal Haasan as they would be able to recover the cost in quick time.

If sources are to be believed. Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan will also have a DTH premiere before the theatrical release. The DTH operators have reportedly approached Rajinikanth for his approval but Rajinikanth is yet to agree. Watch this space for more updates.
