Heroines and remunerations were not much of a thing in Tollywood because they were meant to be the glam props onscreen along with dancing in the songs and doing one or two mushy romantic scenes. But things have changed over the years and even heroines are having a lot of market value, crowd pull factor and strength in their characters. Therefore, their remunerations also increased.

One such heroine is Samantha and more than her roles it is her success streak in Tollywood which has made her hot property. Now, it is heard that the lovely smile beauty has gone ahead and hiked her remuneration. Earlier, Samantha used to get anywhere between Rs 1 crore and near-abouts.

But now it is heard that Samantha is all set for a new record as she is getting a whopping Rs 2 crores, as per sources. Buzz is that producer Bellamkonda Suresh has gone ahead and gave this big figure to Samantha for agreeing to pair up with his son Bellamkonda Srinivas who is making his debut. The film is directed by V V Vinayak.
