Aishwarya Rai is going to act as British agent of Indian origin

Aishwarya Rai is reportedly interested in playing Noor Inayat Khan, a British agent of Indian origin who was sent to occupied France to aid the French Résistance during World War II.
According to Deadline London, the film, budgeted at $15 million, will be produced by Film & Music Entertainment (F&ME) which is owned by British producers Mike Downey and Sam Taylor. It is their biggest project to date and they plan to visit India later during the year to seek funding.
Screenplay for the film, which is expected to start shooting before Christmas, is being developed by Judy Morris (Happy Feet, Babe: Pig In the City).
Noor was the first female radio operator to be sent into occupied France and was honored with the George Cross and the Croix de Guerre.
She was an Indian Muslim Sufi and her father, Hazrat Inayat Khan, was a great-grandson of Tipu Sultan. Her mother, Ora Meena Ray Baker, was an American from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Noor was born in Russia, and moved to England shortly before the start of the First World War in 1914. In 1920, the family settled in France.
During World War II, after France was over-run by the Nazis, Noor escaped to England, where she joined the Women's Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF).
She was picked and trained for covert operations in France because of her fluency in French.
After arriving in France she did a fine job but was captured by the Germans a few months later, possibly betrayed by a double agent.
Noor proved to be stubborn prisoner who was eventually executed by the Germans.
