Aishwarya Rai paid a huge remuneration of 6 crores

Veteran filmmaker Shankar is coming up with huge budget film ‘Endhiran’ that was ever been made in Indian films. It is being made with 165 crores budget. It has even crossed the records of bollywood high budget film ‘Blue’ (2009).
There was lot of confusion regarding the title of the film. Earlier, the titles such as Iyandhiran or Iyandhira were under consideration but later it was finalized as ‘Endhiran’. However, same problem has been faced with the casting of the film. Before, it was Sharukh Khan who has been selected for the lead role but it was dropped due to personal conflicts with the script. Later, many names were under consideration but Rajinikanth’s name was confirmed for the male lead.
Several actresses were also looked for the female lead in the film. They include Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Asin Thottumkal, Trisha Krishnan, Sriya Saran, Priyamani and Nayanthara. But finally Aishwarya Rai bagged this prestigious offer. She was paid with a huge remuneration of Rs.6 crores and that made her highest paid actress in India.
It was recently reported that ‘Endhiran’ is scheduled to release by the month of August.
