Arvind Swamy and Vindhya divorce cases in court

Marriage life is sweet, until there are problems. Problems have to be dealt in a sweet manner; otherwise the effects would be bitter. Marriage life has not been always successful in the case of film stars. Now we have two film stars divorce cases pending in the court.


Arvind Swamy, ones the most handsome person in the industry has now filed a petition against his wife Gayathri in a family court in Chennai. He has asked for divorce by mutual consent on Tuesday, seeking to end the 16-year old marriage. The judge granted the couple the mandatory six-month separation period and adjourned further hearing of the case to December 1, 2010. The actor married Gayathri in 1994 and the couple have two children.

Another actress who is facing problem with her marriage life is Vindhya. Vindhya married Gopi, brother of Banupriya in the year 2008. They have been living separately for a while. Gopi filed a petition seeking divorce last year, while Vindhya filed a petition seeking restoration of her conjugal rights. The petitions came up for hearing on Tuesday; the couple appeared in person and participated in counseling.
