The film is directed by Joshy with music score by Deepak Dev. The story of the movie revolves around a retired and well-to-do army officer, Palomattathu Varghese Mappila and his family. His family comprises of two sons, Chirsty and Joby. While Christy works as an informer in Mumbai, Joby is sent abroad to study Theology. However, the film has courted some trouble with Kerala Film Producers Association (KFPA), which is demanding a ban on the movie due to high production costs.
