Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto has been cast in the upcoming 'Planet of the Apes prequel' Hollywood flick. The actress will be starring opposite James Franco in the new movie, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Reports claim she will be playing a primatologist called Caroline while Franco will play a scientist. The movie is set to hit cinemas in June next year.
Pinto, 25, is best known for her role as Latika in the Oscar-winning movie by Danny Boyle.
She is now dating her co-star in the film, Dev Patel.
