Shankar in his blog wrote “It was a very, very happy moment for everyone. I think this is the first film where I am doing the pumpkin breaking pooja ( Poosanika Udaikiradhu) with the lead stars Rajnikanth & Aishwarya Rai.”He further says “Our producer Mr. Kalanithi Maran gave a big party on July 9th for the crew. In the presence of our honorable Central minister Mr. Dayanidhi Maran, I attended the party along with Rajni sir, DOP Rathnavelu, Resul Pookutty, Editor Antony & my crew. We shared all the interesting stories related to the making of the film with Mr. Maran. It was a memorable day for all of us”.
“Good news… Yesterday morning Rahman gave the Tamil songs final mix master to us… it is amazing…rocking, sounding as big & grand as the budget of the movie.
