Nayanthara whopping Rs 1 crore offer for a Kannada film Jogayya

Nayanthara The actress, who has made no attempt to hide her serious relationship with the choreographer-turned-actor-director,Prabhudeva  is in no mood to sign any more films and has started cutting down on her projects. She is currently winding up Boss Engira Bhaskaran with Arya and a Kannada film with Upendra.

Now, news arrives that the pretty lady has turned down a whopping Rs 1 crore offer for a Kannada film Jogayya, opposite Shivaraj-kumar, reportedly at the behest of Prabhu Deva.

Interestingly, Jogayya (which is the 100th film of Sandalwood star Shivrajkumar) was launched with much fanfare recently, with top south stars including Chiranjeevi,vijay and Suriya as special invitees.

Sources from Bangalore say that Shivarajkumar was keen to have Nayan as his co-star for the film and even went to the extent of offering her a fancy price of rupees one crore, an unheard-of remuneration for any actress in the history of Kannada film industry. There are whispers that Nayan consulted her partner Prabhu Deva, who asked her not to sign the project for reasons best known to him.
