She also took the opportunity to diss ex Michael Lohan several times during the show, despite Lauer's attempts to keep the focus on Lindsay and her troubles.
Dina's mantra, which she repeated ad nauseam, was: The judge played hardball and sent Lindsay unfairly to jail, for which the judge has now been fired.
Dina believes Lindsay didn't violate the terms of her probation. She missed some classes because of work, but then made up for them.
She also believes Lindsay is still being made to pay for a DUI offense that she committed in 2007, when she was 19-year-old.
Asked when she expected Lindsay to be released from rehab, Dina said "soon."
Asked if she had any temptation to grab Linsday and get her out of Hollywood when she leaves rehab.
"She will be coming back to New York," Dina said.
