Oviya, is now a star.Until Director Sargunam spotted her, she was modeling in Kerala and part of lots of ramp shows and textile commercialsKalavani her debut film, which is a hit, and Oviya's performance has drawn her plenty of appreciation. The pretty actress who cast a spell with her innocence and realistic acting will soon be seen in many more films soon.
Her next film is Muthuku Muthaga, in which she plays a character where there is both a village and a modern city girl portion. simultaneously she will be doing Sevanu directed by Director Jeeva in which you will she her in a mature character.
When the actress was asked how did you speak tamil, she says "I learnt speaking by watching many Tamil films. Besides, the language is similar to Malayalam. I like the people in Chennai, they are very nice."
Your take on glamour?
So far I have not received any scripts that call for glamour, when I get such a script, I will think about it.
