Director Kannan is all set to direct Vandhan Vendran with Jiiva in the lead. This film will be made simultaneously in Telugu too but the lead actor is yet to be confirmed. On the heroine for this bi-lingual, Kannan says that talks are on with a few leading ladies who are popular in both the film industries.

According to Kannan, the major part of the film is based in Mumbai and hence the shooting will be in that part of the country. However, in heavily crowded places it is impossible to shoot and for this, sets will be erected in Chennai
