Bill Compton and Sookie Stackhouse might have been going through a rough patch on "True Blood" recently, but things are swell for real-life loves Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin. The on- and off-screen couple made things official this weekend at their beachside wedding in California on Saturday night."Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin were married on Saturday evening in Malibu surrounded by their family and friends," their publicist confirmed to People.
"True Blood" creator Alan Ball was there to wish the happy couple well, but we think they should probably send him well wishes. After all, he's the reason they're together--the two actors met when shooting "True Blood" and have been dating since 2008.
Anna and Stephen weren't the only Bon Temps residents at the wedding. Their "True Blood" costars Ryan Kwanten, Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley and Carrie Preston all watched the pair exchange vows under a tent in Malibu.
People reports that Anna wore a white halter dress with Neil Lane jewelry and that her hair was in an updo. Following the ceremony, Stephen took a dip in the ocean with several wedding guests.
The couple made waves last week when they appeared naked and drenched in blood with costar Alexander Skarsgård on the cover of Rolling Stone.
