Less than a week after news broke that Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz are expecting their first child, the actor has confirmed the news to People while in Rome, Italy at a press conference for Eat, Pray, Love.The Academy Awarding-winning actor shared, "It is true. I am very happy," adding, "Don't make me say anything else."
When questioned as to whether he and Cruz have picked out a baby name yet, he replied, "No, not yet."
A reporter at the conference then asked if the dad-to-be has any tips on balancing career and family, to which Bardem replied, "It is a little too soon for me to be giving any advice. I don't know yet. But I will find out soon."
Bardem and Cruz, who met while on the set of the Woody Allen directed film Vicky Christina Barcelona, have been married for two months.
