Actress Ileana has been officially signed up for 3 Rascals

After the stupendous success of Enthiran, Director Shankar next project. is the remake of Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots tentatively titled 3 Rascals. Ilayathalapathy Vijay and MaheshBabu playing the lead role in the tamil and telugu version respectively, which was played by Aamir Khan in the original is known news.

Now Actress Ileana has been officially signed up for 3 Rascals, though talks with the actress have been going on for quite a while, the fact is that the actress officially came on board the team only recently. Ileana will play the role played by Kareena Kapoor in the Hindi original, and will star in both the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film.

Now the heroine has been finalised, official confirmation on the rest of the 2 ‘Idiots’ are awaited. With Madhavan, who was a part of the Hindi original, announcing that he will not be replaying the role, it has been reported that the Siddharth and Jeeva for the other two roles.

Cameraman Manoj Paramahamsa, earlier had, said, “The film is being planned as a summer release and the shoot will most probably begin by early November”.
