Jeeva got a call from director Shankar to play as one of the Idiot in the film

Since the past few days, some news media have been carrying out rumors on director Shankar that he is not interested in directing the Tamil and the Telugu remake of the 3-Idiots movie.

Today, Jeeva, the son of RB Chowdary, has revealed that he got a call from director Shankar to play as one of the Idiot in the film.

He also revealed that director Shankar told him that the 3-Idiots movie's shooting would begin from November. "I am very thrilled that I got a chance to work under Shankar" Jeeva said this morning. This should set aside rumors that Shankar is not directing the remake.
