Siruthai shoot took place at Gingee Fort in Arcot District.

Doubtlessly, Karthi becomes the star of 2010 as all his films ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’, ‘Paiyya’ and ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’ have been tremendous hits. Basking into glorious successes, the actor is vigorously shooting for his next film titled ‘Siruthai’. The film as known is a remake of yesteryear Telugu blockbuster ‘Vikramakudu’.

Recently, the film’s climax involving breathtaking sequences were shot at Karnataka’s most famous Badami Hills at Bagalkot District. Art director Rajeevan had erected the best set works at 300ft hilltop. Both Karthi and Tamanah had to experience whole lot of speculative shots.

Yesterday, the film’s shoot took place at Gingee Fort in Arcot District. Both Karthi and Tamanah shot their portions and the crowd went irresistibly excited watching Karthi in police costumes. Even the police patrols felt more difficult to handle the situation.

With just few outdoor portions left to be completed, filmmaker Siva and producers are planning to wrap up the shooting by November.

Keep logging to the column for updates on this fast-paced ‘Siruthai’.
