Kamal Nayan says “We wanted the film to reflect on an issue that is affecting the society. And we also wanted to offer a solution to it. At a time when kidnapping of children is hogging the headlines, this movie talks about the same.”
“Though India is seventh largest country in the world. It is eighth most unsafe place to live. This propelled me to make a script and we are elated when Censor officials gave us a pat watching the movie and said the attempt is very genuine.” says director of the film Kuzhandhai Velappan.
The film is not limited to social message but also has all the commercial facets like comedy and romance. Kuzhandhai Velappan a great fan of ace director Mani Ratnam says “I wish to continue doing films that are useful and productive for the society.”
The film has Dhruvah, Shruti, Sampath, Dharan, Panchu Subbu and John Vijay in the key roles. Music is scored by Mariya Manohar where all the numbers in the film are listen worthy.
