Kabir Bedi will make his debut in Tamil films through the movie ‘Aravaan’ directed by Vasantha Balan

It’s a special gift for Tamil film industry as the most proficient actor of all times Kabir Bedi will make his debut in Tamil films through the movie ‘Aravaan’, directed by Vasantha Balan.

Touted to be a period film, ‘Aravaan’ features Aadhi in lead role with Thansika of ‘Peranmai’ fame and Malayalam actress Archana Kavi of ‘Neelathamara’ fame in female lead roles. Pasupathy takes on a very important character.

The versatile actor was impressed with the resplendent narration of Vasantha Balan and instantaneously accepted to sign the film.

Kabir played pivotal roles in Columbia Pictures' The Beast of War, a film on the Russian war in Afghanistan, directed by Kevin Reynolds, as well as the acclaimed Italian film Andata Ritorno, by Marco Ponti, winner of the prestigious David di Donatello Award.

His list of best performances runs into monstrous figures as the aspiring actors consider him as their role model.
