Actor Aarya, the handsome hunk of Kollywood, has been linked in the ‘romantic circle’ more than once in the past. The actor, who had a phenomenal year in 2010 with a couple of hits in ‘Madarasapattinam’ and ‘Bass Engira Baskaran’, finds himself again in the ‘love’ tangle.
A few years back, reports in the media linked Aarya to Nila a.k.a. Mira Chopra (of ‘Anbae Aaruyirae’ fame). Later, it turned out to be a ‘false alarm’, as Nila got married to some other guy and became a businesswoman herself. Aarya was then said to be in love with Pooja, his heroine of as many as four films including the award-winning ‘Naan Kadavul’.
Pooja, however, moved away from Chennai and has reportedly taken up a regular job at a Bangalore firm. Aarya was also said to be having an affair with Amy Jackson, his British co-star in the film ‘Madarasapattinam’, which wasn’t to be. Now comes the rumour that he has found his ‘true love’ in Sharmila.
Sharmila, who is making her Tamil debut opposite Aarya in ‘Thillumullu’, is already an established star in Sandalwood. She says she was ‘shocked’ to read the reports of her ‘affair’ with Aarya and adds that she has never been linked with any of her co-stars. “Just because we had a private chat for a few minutes when we were shooting outdoors, it shouldn’t be construed that we are in love,” clarifies Sharmila.
