Deepika Padukone is flying high for she met Rajinikanth on the muhurrat of Rana in Chennai on Friday. An amazed Deepika says, ' he is such a great human being and was extremely casual. I still cant believe that I would be sharing the screen with him for Rana'.
Calling it a destiny, she says, ' whatelse I could ask but for a movie with a great star like Rajinikanth'. Deepika plays Rajinikanth's ladylove in the movie.
With Rajinikanth adviced rest for few days after he developed some illness, Deepaika has to wait for romancing him in the sets of Rana. 'It’s great to be in Chennai and shooting for this film. Even on the first day of shoot, I could feel the entire unit reaching out to me and helping me with the new environment. Ravikumar sir and Soundarya Rajinikanth ensured that I was comfortable. Even Rajini sir wished me success at the pooja', she added.
K S Ravikumar heaped laurels on Deepika and said, ' she is extremely casual and co-operative. She understand what we wants and gives the same output'.
Rana features Rajinikanth in triple roles. A period film set in 17th century, the movie has music by A R Rahman and cinematography by Rathnavelu. Shooting for the film is on at AVM Studios.
