The most eligible bachelor of Kollywood Karthi Sivakumar and popular director Selvaraghavan are set to enter wedlock.
Karthi, son of veteran actor Sivakumar, will marry Ranjani on 3 July at a family-affair in Coimbatore. Meanwhile, Selvaraghavan will tie the nuptial knot to Geethanjali in Chennai. It is perhaps the first time that two prominent film personalities get married on the same day.
Karthi along with his family members have left to Coimbatore where the celebrations would begin later tonight. A grand wedding reception will be hosted in Chennai on 7 July, in which who's who of politics and filmdom are expected to attend. The young actor says, 'Ranjani is a cool and nice girl. She understands my profession and supports me a lot. Life has certainly changed post my engagement and I am looking forward to the road ahead.'
The wedding is being held at Codissia Centre in Coimbatore and decorations are well in place to convert the sprawling arena into a glittering sphere of lights and laughter. The wedding hall have been refurbished to include seating for around 2,500 odd guests.
Around 25-30 air conditioning systems have also been installed all over the three spacious hall that Codissia boasts of.
Selvaraghavan will marry Geethanjali, daughter of former advocate General of Tamilnadu P S Raman. The wedding will take place in a posh hotel in Chennai.
On his wedding, Selvaraghavan says, 'I wish that we stay happy forever. She happened to meet me during the shoot of Irandam Ulagam and I still don't know who first expressed their love'.
He further added, 'there have been rumours, gossips and malicious reports about me. But still she had faith in me. She is a real inspiration, my fiend and guide now'
