Surya Maatraan will go on floors from July 22nd

After Surya has been busy juggling between personal and professional commitments recently. He recently concluded his 7aam Arivu shoots and also discharged duties as an elder brother during Karthi’s wedding and the following reception – a grand affair.


Now that he has done away with everything, the commencing date of his next project Maatraan was the matter of debate among fans in tinsel town.


Don’t worry folks, there is news that Maatraan will reportedly go on floors from July 22nd, 2011.The movie has already generated much hype with Director Kv Anand himself revealing, “Surya will appear in 5 new avatars and each one will have a totally different dimension to it in Maatraan.” Apart from that the news of Surya’s 16 crore salary for Maatraan overtaking Vijay’s 13 crore did make top headlines earlier.


Now that the project kick starts in 2 weeks time, Surya fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
