Though there were rumours that she was 'secretly engaged' to Naga Chaitanya and that her godfather was his dad, Nagarjuna, actress Anushka seems unperturbed. She is riding high in Kollywood and Tollywood and commanding a fancy price to boot. And despite all these rumours, it looks like Anushka shares a great rapport with the Akkineni family.
As we had reported earlier, this actress will apparently be starring opposite Naga Chaitanya in a Telugu film to be directed by Selvaraghavan. "Selva had planned this quite some time back," says a source, "But currently, he's planning a film with Arya as well. So, it's unclear whether Anushka will be part of the Naga Chaitanya project or the Arya one." Though other leading Tollywood actors are being considered for the role, it looks like Naga Chaitanya might bag it because the filmmaker has been in talks with the filmmaker for quite a while now.
Interestingly, Anushka has also signed a third film with Nagarjuna post the success of Don and Super. The film is apparently going to be shot in exotic locales like Luxor, Cairo and Prague.
At the moment, Selva is busy with his brother Dhanush's flick with Richa Gangopadhyay titled, Mayakam Enna. He is likely to kickstart his Telugu project post this Tamil flick.
