Recently Suriya appreciated Santhanam for his performance and also said that the best comedian award for 2011 will surely be given to him. The comedian is all happy about the reviews and is busy with handful of projects. The rise of the popularity made his call sheet more costlier. His rate card has been changed recently and right now he is being paid by all standards.
His pay per film is Rs 30 lakhs for just 15 days of his work. If more dates are needed he will be paid Rs 5 lakh per day.
