Santhanam Under Trouble for Saying the Dialouge Na Lawyer illa Tea Kada Nayar

Comedian Santhanam played an advocate in Deiva Thirumagal. He played Vinod, a junior lawyer to Anushka in the film. In the movie Santhanam appears as an advocate who runs around the court halls seeking a client.


Advocates in Chennai are agitated with Santhanam for portraying the lawyer community in bad light in the film ‘Deiva Thirumagal’. According to the advocates at the Egmore court, Santhanam, who plays a junior lawyer in the movie, has degraded the advocates.


During a protest at the court complex yesterday, the advocates called for an apology from the comedian failing which they threatened to initiate action against him. The protesting advocates also appealed to the ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ team to remove those scenes that degrade the advocates. The lawyers also threatened to intensify the stir if no action is taken on this issue by the filmmakers. As a result of the protest tension prevailed in the court premises.
