Former beauty queen Parvathy Omanakuttan has been roped in place of Huma Qureshi to play the lead in Billa 2 opposite Ajith. Parvathy will be playing Ajith’s love interest in the film.
Apparently, Huma was initially signed to play the lead actress but the makers say that because of the delays of the start of the Goa schedule of the film, the actress decided to opt out of the Ajith-starrer due to date issues.
This movie will mark Parvathy’s debut in Kollywood. Billa 2 is progressing fast and directed by Chakri Toleti, scenes involving Ajith were canned recently in Hyderabad. The movie has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
