Santhanam to act with Jeeva in Neethaane En Ponvasantham

Finally director Goutham Menon's movie starring Jiiva started to roll. The shoot of their film Neethaane En Ponvasantham, being produced by R S Infotainment along with Photon Kathaas commenced recently.

The ad campaign that garnered interest with the public over the last few days showcases the film as a feel-good, young, college-romance film. Santhanam is also a part of the film, playing an important role. This is the first time Gautham and Santhanam come together and is in fact the first time since Vivek (in minnale) that gautham has signed on a leading comedian.

However, Gautham insists that he will be presenting not only Jiiva, but also Santhanam differently. Samantha, who essayed the role of 'Jessie' in the telugu version of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa is the heroine.
Cinematography is by M S Prabhu while Rajeevan handles editing. Audience is eagerly awaiting this love story from Gautham Menon.

Jiiva plays Raghu, an engineering college student. Buzz is that the movie is being shot entirely in Chennai.
